Ryan Reynolds Posts Photo of DEADPOOL Channeling Taylor Swift's Evermore Album Cover and Reignites Cameo Rumors
This week, Ryan Reynolds reignited rumors that his friend Taylor Swift may actually appear in the upcoming Marvel movie Deadpool & Wolverine. This has long been speculated, since Reynolds said in 2022 that he was game to have Swift appear in the film.
Reynolds told Entertainment Tonight at the time, “If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location. Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.”
EW recently reported that Swift didn’t make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine, but Reynolds’ new post may suggest otherwise.
He posted the photo above on his Instagram Story showing the Marvel superhero’s back in the middle of the forest. Swifties were quick to notice the similarities to Swift’s Evermore album cover. Reynolds even added Swift’s song “Evermore” to the Instagram post.
Director Shawn Levy hasn’t confirmed one way or the other regarding Swift in the film, but has said that the film has many cameos, telling the same outlet, “We didn’t want any of the cameos or characters to be the story of the movie. But they are peppered in throughout.
“There’s a lot of characters. The internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this movie. Some rumors are true, some are way off base.”
