Ryan Reynolds Shares Thoughts on Pikachu vs Deadpool Fight
It still boggles my mind that Ryan Reynolds is going to be playing Pikachu in Detective Pikachu. However, I’m liking what I’m seeing in the trailers. That being said, Reynolds’s most iconic role has probably been Deadpool, the merc with a mouth. Well, MTV recently interviewed Reynolds and asked him who would win in a fight, Pikachu or Deadpool, to which he responded Pikachu because:
“Even though he doesn’t swear, he’s very powerful. He can create some actual, real superpowers, whereas Deadpool is just mostly sarcastic.”
Reynolds also feels that Pikachu would fare well as a member of X-Force.
Detective Pikachu will be in theaters on May 10.
