Ryan Reynolds Wants to Make DEADPOOL 4, but Explains Why It Will Take a Long Time

Deadpool & Wolverine was a massive success for Marvel and Disney as it got great reviews and made over $1 billion at the box office. As you might expect, the studios and the fans would love to see another get made.

While Ryan Reynolds would also like to make another Deadpool movie, it’s going to be a while before that happens. During a recent interview with Extra, the actor was asked about if he's thought about doing Deadpool 4 yet.

Reynolds responded: "Oh now, bite your tongue. That's a… I would love that but there's a reason it's been six years since the last one.”

He goes ont’t to say: “It just sort of swallows my life whole and I have four kids that I wouldn't mind introducing myself to at some point, just spend a little time walking them to and from school."

It makes sense that he would want to take a break from such a big undertaking like another Deadpool movie to spend time with his kids.

The actor went on to say how much he enjoyed making Deadpool and Wolverine, and how proud he is about the response to the movie.

"I'm immensely proud and I just feel really lucky to have been – not just a part of it obviously – but to be working with this crew, with so many people who are at the top of their game.

“So many craftspeople, crews that are second, third generation at what they do. I loved every second of it and it's probably the only film I've ever finished that I mourned. I was genuinely sad and a little depressed when we locked the picture."

We haven’t seen the last of Deadpool, he will obviously be back. We just don’t know when that will happen. One thing is for sure… it’s going to be a few years before we see a fourth Deadpool movie.
