Ryan Reynolds Wants to Soothe Your Soul in Trailer for BEDTIME STORIES WITH RYAN
Ryan Reynolds has a new project coming out that is very different from anything that he’s done before. The quick-witted actor that knows how to entertain audiences and make people laugh is now looking to soothe your soul and put you to sleep.
Maximum Effort has released the first trailer for Bedtime Stories with Ryan, which is a 15-episode series that will air on the Maximum Effort Channel on Fubo. The trailer is narrated by Reynolds as he walks around the house in his pajamas and at one point he sits down and opens a book full of bedtime stories that he prepares to read to two sheep tucked in their beds.
Reynolds wrote in the caption: "The idea for a show made to help everyone fall asleep was born the same day as my fourth child. I can't wait for you to watch Bedtime Stories."
Bedtime Stories with Ryan is the first original show released within the new Maximum Effort Channel, which will launch on June 20th alongside the show's premiere. All 15 episodes are directed by Vincent Peone.
The press release reads: "In an effort to make all of our dreams a reality, the Maximum Effort Channel, a partnership between Fubo and Ryan Reynolds' Maximum Effort, debuts the trailer for its first original show, Bedtime Stories with Ryan. In the series, Ryan Reynolds reads new and classic bedtime stories in an attempt to soothe your mind and soul (and also his own). This is the first original show announcement for Maximum Effort Channel, a channel that will be home to original and classic TV, movies – as well as some surprising commercials – made for maximum comfort."
Reynolds said in a statement: “We’re so happy to create a program with the express goal of putting people to sleep. This show has actually been a dream of mine for a while. Story time is a nighttime staple in our home and is a daily reminder of the power of storytelling.”

Bedtime Stories with Ryan premieres on June 20th on the Maximum Effort Channel on Fubo.
