Ryan Reynolds Wants Wolverine to Make a Cameo in DEADPOOL

Do you know what would make the upcoming Deadpool movie even better? Having Hugh Jackman's Wolverine make a cameo. They've already shared the screen together in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but that movie doesn't really count. Deadpool will already feature several mutant characters, but the one that really matters is Wolverine. As you know, these two characters have a long history with each other, and it would be completely appropriate for Wolverine to show up in the movie, even if it's just for a brief cameo.

During an interview with News.com.au, Ryan Reynolds expresses his hope that Wolverine would be able to be in the movie. When asked about it, he said:

“God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else.”

Jackman has previously confirmed that the next Wolverine film would be his last time playing the character, and explained why he is ready to walk away. That doesn't mean he won't be in Deadpool though, as that movie would come out first. On top of that, Reynolds says that Jackman is open to it. So they've obviously had discussions, and if he can find room in his schedule to make it happen, maybe we'll actually see Wolverine show up.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

The movie also stars TJ Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, and Ed Skrein as Ajax. The Tim Miller-directed film will also feature Colossus.

Deadpool is scheduled for a release on February 12th, 2016. Do you want to see Wolverine pop up in the movie?
