Saban Films Has Acquired Rights to SciFi Thriller VIVARIUM Starring Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg

Saban Films has acquired the domestic rights to the Lorcan Finnegan-directed film Vivarium, starring Imogen Poots (That Awkward Moment, The Art of Self-Defense) and Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, The Art of Self-Defense). The film debuted at Cannes in May, and Deadline gives us the following description for it:

Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg star in the story of a young couple in search of the perfect starter home. After following a mysterious real estate agent to a new housing development, they become trapped in a maze of identical houses and are forced to raise an otherworldly child.

That sounds weird. I’m a fan of both these actors though, and it sound like an original idea, so I’m up for checking it out. How about you?
