Sabrina Meets Her Demon Cat Salem in This First Clip From THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA

Netflix has released the first clip from their fantastic looking supernatural horror series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The scene shows us Sabrina meeting her demon cat Salem for the first time. I also included a new poster for the series.

I love everything that I’ve seen from this show so far. It seems like the kind of series that horror fans will enjoy. I love that the creative team is going super dark with it!

It's been explained that the series "traffics in horror, the occult and witchcraft" and has been described as being in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist. You’ll see elements of those things in this new trailer. The series "finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit."

The story picks up on the verge of Sabrina's 16th birthday and with that comes an important decision. "Will she give up her human friends — and her adorable boyfriend, Harvey — to live life as a witch? Or will she turn her back on her powers in favor of the freedom that comes with humanity? Or can she somehow have it all?"

The show is based on the comic of the same name and stars Kiernan Shipka in the role of Sabrina, along with Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, and more.

The show comes from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and it’s set to premiere on Netflix on October 26th with 10 episodes. Watch the trailer below!
