Sadistic New Trailer for Chris Rock's SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW
Lionsgate has released a new trailer for Chris Rock’s upcoming sadistic horror film Spiral: From The Book of Saw, which is the latest installment of the Saw horror franchise.
Rock is the guy who came up with the film’s story, and he also stars in it alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Max Minghella, who play detectives investigating a string of grisly murders by a killer who is targeting cops. These detectives find themselves in “the center of the killer's morbid game.”
The new trailer offers up a good amount of new footage and sheds some more light on the story that fans might find interesting. As you’ll see in the trailer, Jackson ends up in a pretty nightmarish situation.
Darren Bousman (of Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Repo! The Genetic Opera) directed the movie. While I’ve been done with the Saw franchise for a long time, I’m actually excited about this one. Mostly because I want to see what kind of story that Rock wanted to tell with it.
A sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel "Zeke" Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner William Schenk (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
Spiral: From the Book of Saw hits theaters May 14, 2021.
