Sam Worthington Will Star in Brad Anderson's New Action Thriller for Netflix
Sam Worthington has been spending a lot of time returning to Pandora for the sequels to Avatar. However, it looks like he’s going to be in another film that I imagine will have a lot fewer blue people.
Worthington is teaming up with director Brad Anderson (Session 9, The Machinist) for an action thriller film for Netflix that currently has no title. But we do have some plot info:
“The Netflix movie will follow a father (Worthington) that must find his courage and hold onto his sanity when his wife and daughter disappear in the middle of an ER visit.”
The screenplay for the film was written by Alan B. McElroy who is known for his work on horror films. Neal Edelstein, Mike Macari, and Paul Schiff are all set to produce the film which will begin production later this year with a 2019 release date currently planned.
Anderson is a solid director that has made some thrilling movies. What do you think about Worthington working with him on this upcoing movie?
