Sam Worthington Among Cast Members to Join Kevin Hart in Netflix Heist Film LIFT

Sam Worthington (Avatar, Under the Banner of Heaven), Burn Gorman (The Expanse, Enola Holmes), Jean Reno (Leon: The Professional, Da 5 Bloods), and Jacob Batalon (The Spider-Man home franchise) are set to join Kevin Hart in the heist film Lift at Netflix. They also join previously cast actors Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), Billy Magnussen (No Time to Die), Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist), Yunjee Kim, Viveik Kalra, and Paul Anderson.

F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job, Straight Outta Compton) will direct the pic, with Dan Kunka (12 Rounds) penning the script.

In the film, “Hart will play a master thief who is wooed by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to pull off an impossible heist with his international crew on a 777 flying from London to Zurich.”

This is a very talented cast, and it sounds like a solid and exciting story. Stay tuned for a release date and more info as the production develops.
