Sam Worthington is Transformed into an Enhanced Super Human in Trailer For The Sci-Fi Film THE TITAN
Sam Worthington (Avatar) has a new film sci-fi action-thriller coming out called The Titan and it actually looks kinda interesting. The story is set in the near future and it centers on a man who signs up for a military program that will transformer him into an enhanced human called "Titans" who would be capable of living on Saturn's moon Titan, which they want to colonize. As you might expect from a movie like this, this transformation comes with some intense and deadly side effects.
The movie also stars Taylor Schilling, Tom Wilkinson, Agyness Deyn, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Corey Johnson. Here's the synopsis:
A military family takes part in a ground-breaking experiment of genetic evolution and space exploration. Hotshot Air Force pilot, Rick Janssen (Worthington), is chosen for a military experiment that will create a human being capable of surviving the harsh environments of Saturn's moon, Titan. The experiment is successful, turning Rick into a super-human, but it also creates deadly side-effects which threatens the life of Rick, his wife and family, and possibly humanity itself.
The movie has a solid concept, but we'll have to wait and see if that execution of it is any good. The film was directed by Lennart Ruff, who is making his feature film debut, and there's currently no release date. Watch the trailer and let us know if it looks like a movie you'd want to check out.
