SAMURAI JACK is Getting a Board Game!

Samurai Jack is a fantastic TV show. While I haven’t been able to get caught up on the fifth season, I remember the first few seasons were phenomenal. The story was intriguing, the art fantastic, and the side characters were amazing. Now, you'll get to continue enjoying the journeys of Jack on board game form. Samurai Jack: Back to the Past is a game created by a team up of USAopoly, Adult Swim, and Project Raygun. The game will feature cool custom sculpted pieces for Jack, Aku, and some of Jack’s allies including Ashi and the Scotsman! It will retail for $34.95 and accommodates 2-5 players. USAopoly will explain more about the game during GAMA expo between March 13-15 so that we can get more excited before its release this summer. According to CBR:

Gameplay will echo the show’s storylines, as 2 to 5 players will compete for the most Honor as they traverse the board, staving off various members of Aku’s evil forces along the way. Allies, Weapons and Traits will all be available to players, but one mechanic was pulled directly from the most recent season’s narrative, however, as players will also have to manage Jack’s Sanity during their adventures.

I’m so excited!
