As you know, this year's San Diego Comic-Con was canceled and pushed to July 22nd - 25th of 2021. I was super bummed out about that, but the organizers of the epic geek convention want to give the fans something this year, so they’ve announced Comic-Con at Home.

We don’t have a lot of details on the event to share with you, but they released an amusing promo video that pokes fun at themselves and it states:

"Coming soon...free parking, comfy chairs, personalized snacks, no lines, pets welcome, badges for all, and a front-row seat to...Comic-Con at Home."

I’m sure that we’ll get more details in the coming weeks. It’ll be interesting to see what they are actually planning. I wonder if the studios plan on participating by showing off their upcoming projects virtually. Will they premiere the trailers for some of their big upcoming movies, will they share new footage?

Will Marvel show off footage from Eternals, Shang-Chi, WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and The Winter Solider? Will DC participate with showing us some footage of Matt Reeves’s The Batman!? I have no idea, but I hope so! It could also just be a bunch of Zoom-style virtual panels.

It’s hard to say what this Comic-Con at Home will entail, but there’s certainly a lot of potential to do something cool for the fans! What do you hope to see from this upcoming event?
