Sandra Bullock Collaborating With Amazon to Create a Series Based on Her College Experience

Good ol’ Sandra Bullock is working with Amazon to bring us a series based around her time in college. Variety reports that the idea for the series came out of conversations between Sandy and Akiva Goldsman (known for writing A Beautiful Mind and Cinderella Man), who will be co-producing the series alongside Bullock and John Legend. K.C. Perry (The Originals) is slated to write the series and executive produce as well.

The report goes on to say that the series will be “a dramedy set in the world of music and dance. It will take place in the American deep south in the 1980s, where one darkly offbeat young woman defies expectations and sets out in search of love, community, and an identity of her own.”
