Santa Faces Off with Santa in a New Trailer for Tim Allen's THE SANTA CLAUSES Season 2
Disney+ has released a new trailer for Season 2 of Tim Allen’s The Santa Clauses! In it, as Santa/Scott Calvin is looking to get the whole family into the Santa business, “Mad Santa” is unleashed, and he’s on a mission to reclaim the role as the rightful Santa. So, Santa finds himself facing off with Santa and it looks like this will be another fun season for fans and families to enjoy during the holidays.
In Season 2, “The Calvin family is back in the North Pole as Scott continues his role as Santa Claus after retirement plans were thwarted when failing to find a worthy successor in season one. Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Calvin to eventually take over the ‘family business’ as Santa Claus.” The North Pole then turns into a battlefield as the Claus Family prepares to fight for their home.
Eric Stonestreet takes on the role of Mad Santa aka Magnus Antas, and the rest of the cast includes Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus/Carol, Austin Kane as Cal Calvin Claus, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra Calvin Claus, Devin Bright as Noel, and Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias as Kris Kringle.
Disney Branded Television boss Ayo Davis said in a statement: "This franchise has had a lasting impact for so many families, truly becoming part of their annual holiday traditions. Bringing it back as a series has been a true gift, and I'm grateful to our producing partners at 20th Television and, of course, Tim Allen and team, that we have yet another reason to celebrate this holiday season."
The Santa Clauses Season 2 returns with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, November 8th on Disney+.
