Sarah Michelle Gellar Reveals Her 3 Favorite Episodes of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of those shows that fans can’t get enough of. It was a great series, and it’s been a fun show to watch over the years. We all have our favorite episodes of the series, but in a recent interview with BuzzFeed, the actress revealed her favorite episodes for the entire series. She chose three that I think a lot of fans will agree tell great stories.
When asked to rank her top three favorite episodes of the series, Gellar revealed they were “The Body,” “The Prom,” and the silent episode, “Hush.”
The Body:
Buffy is thunderstruck when she finds the body of her dead mother; Dawn and the others are crushed and bewildered by the unexpected loss of a loved one.
The Prom:
Buffy tries to keep a villain from crashing the prom; Xander has a demonic prom date (Emma Caulfield); Cordelia likes the new watcher.
Hush:
Sunnydale residents lose the power of speech as mysterious creatures search the town for human hearts to steal.
Those would definitely make my top 10 list of favorite episodes. “Hush” might be my number one favorite. Another one of my favorites is the musical episode “Once More, With Feeling.”
Gellar went on to talk about that the hardest thing about shooting the series were the nighttime fight sequences. As you know, there were a lot of those!
“It was cold and your muscles get tense, so trying to stay awake and keep your muscles loose (was difficult).”
Gellar was also asked if she ever experienced any “supernatural/spooky events while filming in the graveyards” for the series. This was her reply:
“You know, graveyards are oddly peaceful. I think people don't realize that — if you're in a nice one — there's something peaceful [about them]. They're not as scary as you think once you get over the first anxiety of it.”
