Sarah Michelle Gellar Shares Rare Photos From The Set of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
Over the weekend, Sarah Michelle Gellar shared some rare Buffy The Vampire Slayer photos from the set, during filming, and past reunions with her co-stars as a way to celebrate the series' 21st anniversary. The photos came with a note from Gellar reflecting on the impact that Buffy made on the world. She appropriately uses a quote from the episode "Bring on the Night" from the show’s final season:
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the anniversary of #btvs is the same week as #internationalwomensday. I have always believed that the world is changed by your example, not by your opinion. We have all learned a lot from Buffy, and the best part is, that never ends. ‘From now on, we won’t just face our fears, we will seek them out. We will find them, and cut their hearts out one by one. Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of my favorite shows ever and it's so cool to see some of these photos. I also included a video posted by actor James Marsters who played Spike in the series, and he also had some inspiring words. You can watch that video below the photos.
It's crazy to think that it's been 21 years since Buffy The Vampire Slayer was released! One thing that I noticed that last time a watched series last year, was that the stories that it told and subject matter in them still hold up and are relevant today.
