SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Supercuts Highlight Some of The Best Times The Actors Cracked Up During a Sketch

There are some big changes afoot at Saturday Night Live. Not only are Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah not coming back next season, but two new head writers have been hired, so there may be a subtle (or maybe even not-so-subtle) change in the show's style over the next year or so. But one thing will likely remain the same: no matter how hard they try, there's always going to be a time when the cast members just can't hold it together during a sketch and they crack up laughing. That's the beauty of doing the show live every week — anything can happen.

A lot of times, seeing the professional comedians lose their sh*t live on camera is funnier than anything in the sketch itself. It makes the show and the actors more relatable, and lets the audience feel like we're seeing something we're not supposed to be seeing.

Kate McKinnon TV recently put out two supercuts of some of the funniest times the actors "broke" during the show, and as the name of the YouTube channel might indicate, a majority of these clips come from the last few years of the show. Sure, you'll see the occasional Will Ferrell or Jimmy Fallon moment, but for the most part, those breaks are already well known. These supercuts highlight some of the more recent hilarious moments, including one of my favorites (when host Ryan Gosling can't handle McKinnon's alien abductee character).

Who doesn't love it when they break?
