SAVAGE FLOWERS Trailer Unleashes a Chilling Post-Apocalyptic Cult Story
Cineverse has shared the official first trailer for the indie dystopian thriller Savage Flowers, a tense and unsettling story set in a world ravaged by infection where children are the carriers.
The trailer for the film leans hard into the psychological horror at the heart of its story. This is an uncomfortable look at control, fear, and what people become when the world collapses around them.
Directed by Brad Watson, the film takes place in a bleak future where society has fractured under the weight of disease. At the center of the story is a young orphan who’s taken in by a rundown foster home that promises safety from the chaos outside.
That sense of relief doesn’t last long. What initially feels like refuge slowly reveals itself as something far more disturbing. As the trailer makes clear, the real danger isn’t the infected world beyond the walls, but the girls living inside them.
The synopsis reads: “‘The worst monsters are of our own making.’ Set in an infected world where the children are the carriers of the infection - a young orphan finds sanctuary in a ramshackle foster home but she soon discovers it’s not the world outside that she should fear. It’s the girls she’s inside with.”
The cast includes Roxanne McKee, alongside Nick Moran, Meesha Garbett, Olivia-Mai Barrett, Iona Bell, Connie Jenkins-Greig, Luke Brandon Field, and Joshua Wichard.
The film is being released by Cineverse, and has debuted directly on VOD.
