Save Endangered Species In New PLANET ZOO Expansion

Planet Zoo is a simulation game that lets you build the ultimate zoo. Their new expansion, Planet Zoo: Conservation Pack, will help players learn the real world importance of zoos in protecting both animals and ecosystems. Releasing June 21 on Steam for £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99, the game will feature new endangered animals to care for, building options to help create a sustainable  and self-sufficient zoo, and a new timed scenario.

The new animals available to care for are:

  • Przewalski’s Horse

  • Amur Leopard

  • Siamang

  • Scimitar-Horned Oryx

  • Axolotl

The new timed mission is set in a Mongolian inspired backdrop as you work to protect endangered species against the clock. Zookeepers rescue, rehabilitate, and release these animals while also ensuring improved surroundings, guest education, renewable energy sources, and plant diversity. All in all it sounds like a pretty fun expansion for fans of the base game.

When this new expansion releases, a free update will also be available. It will provide a range of extras and improvements including animal chorus behavior for select species, interactive education stations, and a new climbing enrichment, from which zoo guests can observe the Siamang’s fascinating brachiation behavior, and more.
