Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark director André Øvredal is set to helm a new thriller titled Tarot. Following a competitive auction, eOne has acquired the script for the film, which was written by Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman. Øvredal will direct the pic as well as exec produce.

The project is described as “a high concept thriller based on tarot cards.” Plot specifics are currently undisclosed, but due to the success of Øvredal’s previous thrillers and horror pics, it seems like he’s a good fit for the job.
