SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK Director Set to Helm New Horror Film for Paramount
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark director André Øvredal is set to helm a new untitled horror project at Paramount Pictures.
The movie is being produced by former Warner Bros production executive Walter Hamada as part of his first-look deal with the studio along with Gary Dauberman who has worked on The Conjuring films and most recently directed Salem’s Lot.
The script was written by Zachary Donohue and T.W. Burgess and there are no details to share regarding what the story involves.
Øvredal also directed the movies Mortal and Amblin’s The Last Voyage of the Demeter. He’s made some fun horror movies, and it will be interesting to see what this next project of his ends up being.
