SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK Tweets New Poster and Warns 'This Week Will Be Scary'

The movie Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark has its own official twitter that it has used to keep fans updated with pictures, drawings, clips, and posters. We have a new poster this week with the tease, “This week will be scary. More coming soon…”, with a little spider emoji at the end.

This poster is very cool, and it features a girl clad in pink, standing in a pink bathroom, looking in the mirror, horrified at the sight of the giant bump protruding from her cheek. It’s awful to see and think about it happening to you. Check it out:

I looked back at some of the other pictures tweeted by and to this page, and they are straight up terrifying. I’m scared of everything, but this looks next level. I thought this was supposed to be sorta for kids?

I read some of the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books at sleepovers when I was a kid, but I had a higher tolerance then. I know, I’m a mess. Anyhow, I’ll add the scariest one below as well even though I don’t want to look at it again because I’m scared. The things I do for you…

Are you excited to see Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark when it hits theaters on August 9th?
