Scener Hosting Worldwide PARANORMAN Watch Party WIth Writer And Director Chris Butler

If you are a big fan of LAIKA films as I am, there is an event you will not want to miss. On October 15 at 5 PM PT, Scener will be hosting a worldwide watch party of ParaNorman with writer and director Chris Butler joining fans and sharing live commentary for the first 30 minutes of the film and answering questions in the live text chat.

Following the screening, five emerging filmmakers JP and Beyond, ACM Official, Blake Ridder, InCamera, and Film It Yourself will showcase their unique spin on the stop motion classic. The best part? This is all free. Fans can sign up now and then will simply need to download the Scener Google Chrome extension or their mobile app. Doors will open at 4:45 to help make sure everything is running smoothly for you before the virtual screening starts. 

I say this every year, but ParaNorman is one of my all time favorite movies. I watch it every year in October and despite how many times I’ve seen it, I’m still blown away by it. If you haven’t seen it before or think all stop motion animation looks like Tim Burton’s style, you need to check this movie out.
