School Girl Doc Ock Debuts in SPIDER-MAN: ACORSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Spinoff Manga
There’s a Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse spinoff manga in development from the team behind My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court, and it tells quite an interesting story.
The story centers on Spider-Man villain Doctor Octopus falling into a coma. When he wakes up, Doc Ock finds himself inhabiting the body of Otoha Okutamiya… a Japanese middle school girl.
That sounds like a wildly playful Doc Ock story that I’m interested in reading! If you read Spider-Man comics, you know that this isn’t the first time the villain has found himself in someone else’s body. The Superior Spider-Man saw Ock take over Peter Parker’s body in an attempt to prove he could be a better Spider-Man than his foe.
