Scott Cooper to Direct New Thriller A HEAD FULL OF GHOSTS Starring Margaret Qualley
Scott Cooper is set to direct an upcoming psychological horror thriller titled A Head Full of Ghosts starring Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Margaret Qualley.
The film is an adaptation of Paul Tremblay’s Bram Stoker Award-winning horror novel, and this is the description of the story:
When 8-year-old Merry’s older sister exhibits signs of an indeterminate and terrifying affliction, the Barrett family slowly tears itself apart. Now, 20 years later, Merry is confronted with her family’s traumatic past when Rachel, a journalist with a similarly haunted past, delves into the case, causing Merry to relive and reconsider the devastating memories of her childhood.
I’ve enjoyed the films that Cooper has made in the past, and his upcoming horror film Antlers looks great! Cooper has previously worked on Crazy Heart, Out of the Furnace, Black Mass, and Hostiles. This next film project seems like the kind of story that will play to his strengths, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing what comes of it.
