Scott Derrickson To Produce ROOM 428 Horror Film From The Directors of THE WRETCHED

The Black Phone and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson is producing a new horror film project titled Room 428, which is coming from The Wretched directors Brett and Drew Pierce. They will write and helm the film for Screen Gems.

Unfortunately, there are no details to share in regards to the story, but The Black Phone screenwriter C. Robert Cargill is also on board as a producer alongside Sherryl Clark for Crooked Highway.

This new horror project also marks a return to Screen Gems for Derrickson, who previously directed the films The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Deliver Us from Evil for them.

There are a lot of talented filmmakers involved with Room 428 and I’m looking forward to seeing what they end up creating for this movie.
