Scott Foley Set to Join Season 4 of SHRINKING at Apple TV
Actor Scott Foley has joined the cast of Shrinking for its fourth season at Apple TV+. He joins regular series stars Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, and Jessica Williams, as well as Christa Miller, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. Foley will reportedly play a therapy patient.
From creators Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein, and Segel, Shrinking follows Jimmy Laird (Segel), a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.
Season 4 will also star Judith Light, who is joining the cast in a recurring role, Christian Slater and Karen Gillan, and guest stars Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Cobie Smulders, along with new additions Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox, as well as Candice Bergen, Sherry Cola, and Isabella Gomez.
Coming off a recurring role on the hit series Will Trent, Foley also recently signed up for a series regular role on the Hulu pilot Young Americans, where he will play Judd Burchfield, the President of the United States and leader of the free world.
Foley will also return as his fan-favorite character, Sean Kelly, in the upcoming second season of ABC’s Scrubs revival.
