Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne Finally Address the Theory That ANT-MAN Should Have Flown Up Thanos's Butt

One of the best things to come out of the Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame saga was the theory that Scott Lang aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) should have shrunk down to ant-size, flown up Thanos’s butt, then expanded back up to super-size, blowing the villain to smithereens. It’s a hilarious and disgusting theory that stuck around because it makes a lot of freaking sense! We’ve seen Ant-Man do it without Thanos. It feels like it could have worked. So I wonder what Dr. Strange saw when that possibility crossed his mind…

Anyway, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, aka The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), address this theory in a video inside the Avengers: Quantum Encounter attraction on the Disney Wish cruise ship, with Rudd’s Lang saying:

"Let me address the elephant in the room. I've heard a lot of chatter out there asking why I didn't shrink down, go in, and, uh – kill Thanos in a really creative way. First of all, gross. Secondly, it's much more complicated than that. Allow me to explain–"

Lilly's Hope van Dyne then cuts him off. It is an attraction for kids, after all. It’s pretty funny that this fan theory made it all the way back to these characters though! Check out the video below, and enjoy.
