Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, Rudy, The Goonies) recently took to social media to share his audition video for The Goonies. It’s always fun watching audition videos for actors, especially when they were younger. As you watch the video, you can totally see why he ended up landing the lead role of Mikey. Even though he had a rough start, he was charming as hell and ended up having a great audition.

The video came with the following note from the actor:
