Sean Gunn Talks About GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 and Says It Will "Work Itself Out"
Ever since James Gunn was fired by Disney, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been in a state of limbo. The script that Gunn wrote for the film will be used, but as of right now the movie still does not have a director. Until the film has a director, it’s not going to move forward.
While a lot of fans wonder when and how this next chapter of the story is going to movie forward, James Gunn’s brother, Sean Gunn, believes that everything will work itself out.
While walking the red carpet of the Captain Marvel premiere this week, Sean Gunn, who plays Kraglin, and also serves as the on-set stand in for Rocket Raccoon, told Variety:
“I don’t know exactly how that’s all gonna work…but I feel like we are going to make the third movie, I’m excited to make it, I think it’s a disservice to the fans if we didn’t make it and I know the people who worked on the Guardians movies are really a family, and we’re gonna come together and make the best movie we can regardless of who’s in charge. … I just have this feeling everything’s gonna work itself out.”
I never had any doubt that Marvel Studios would follow through with their plans for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. What I’m mostly curious about is how those plans will be executed and who will be taking the charge of the film.
As of right now, the cast and the crew of the film are just holding tight until Marvel finds a new director and decides to move forward with it.
