Season Finale Trailer For THE RINGS OF POWER and Podcast Announced with Felicia Day
The Season 1 finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is coming next week, and today were have a trailer to share with you that teases what’s coming and promises the “all will be revealed.”
The trailer debuted at New York Comic-Con during Prime Video’s panel for the series and it recaps several of the big story moments through the first season, but it did tease the rise of Mordor is rising, and offered a glimpse at what appears to be Celebrimbor’s forge, where the legendary Rings of Power will eventually be forged.
We can expect some heroes to fall and Sauron’s true identity will finally be revealed! I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this show and I’m so excited to see how this first season closes out.
It was also announced that Felicia Day will be hosting The Official The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Podcast for Amazon Music. It will consist of eight episodes that will include interviews with creator J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay along with members of the cast.
Amazon Studios also announced that Fiona Apple and series composer Bear McCreary collaborated on a song called “Where the Shadows Lie” for the Season finale of the series. The song draws its lyrics from the “Using the Ring Verse” poem written by J.R.R. Tolkien for The Lord of the Rings, and it’s best known for the line: “One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them / One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.”
The podcast will debut on October 14th, the same day as the Season 1 finale.
