Sebastian Stan is Up for Appearing in BLACK WIDOW

Marvel seems to be working on a Black Widow film, but we have no idea what it could be. Is it a prequel? Will it show what Natasha Romanova is up to after Avengers 4? Will it be a female team-up film? Scarlett Johansson has revealed what she wants from the film, and since she’s the actress, maybe there’s some credibility to that. I would love to see it be a solo film that explores what she does when not chilling with the Avengers, or I want a prequel film that digs into her character more and maybe shows us what happened in Budapest.

With no idea of what will happen in the film, Sebastian Stan, who plays the Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was asked a bit about the film and if he’d appear in it by badtaste.it. It would make sense for him to appear. They were both Russian operatives, and in Captain America: Civil War she says, “You could at least recognize me” which leads me to believe they know each other, and in the comics, (as Stan points out) Winter Soldier helps train Black Widow.

They have a very nice history in my opinion. It’s very intricate…the truth is he actually taught her in the comic books. He was a teacher to her. It’s all set during a specific, interesting time. The Cold War. It’s all a very… spy, thrillerish, noirish story…it would be very interesting to explore that on film. I would love if the do that. You know, I hope. Maybe they will.

If Black Widow turns out to be more of a prequel story, I think it would be a crime to not include at least a cameo of Stan as the Winter Soldier.
