Sebastian Stan Has Seen the Scripts for THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, and Teases They Are 'Different From What You've Seen So Far'
Excitement is building for all the upcoming Disney+ series, especially the Star Wars series–The Mandalorian–and all the awesome series we are getting from Marvel, including Hawkeye, Wandavision, Loki, What If…?, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Sebastian Stan has played the role of the Winter Soldier in all of the past Captain America and Avengers films, and is looking forward to reprising the role in the upcoming series alongside Falcon, Captain America’s successor, played by Anthony Mackie.
In a recent appearance at the Fandemic Tour in Houston, Stan was asked if he could tell fans anything about the upcoming series, and was asked if he has seen the scripts for the series. Of course he couldn’t get into the details, but he did express his excitement, and teased a bit of the tone we can expect. Here’s what he had to say:
“I’ll tell you I have. I have seen them and I’m so excited about it. It’s going to be so cool and kind of crazy. All I can say is it’s just new and different from what you’ve seen so far. I mean, it will be totally in line with everything that has happened and what we’ve seen and so on, but these characters are getting such additional mileage in terms of learning about who they are now, what they feel, what they’re thinking, and there’s a lot of action, comedy, you know there’s going to be comedy. I feel like you’re going to be happy. I think you’re going to be very happy. And there’s some crazy stuff, like stuff you don’t see coming from anywhere.”
Vague, of course. But exciting that he has seen the scripts. Because that means that things are in the works. And if things are in the works, we will get more information soon. Disney+ will launch in just a few weeks now, on November 12th, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to hit the streamer sometime next fall. Are you excited about the series?
