SEINFELD Star Jason Alexander Wants to Play the Batman Villain Egghead
With Joker continuing to be a big success at the box office, it’s safe to say that Warner Bros. is looking forward to the future of the Batman franchise. It could open up possibilities to see other DC films produced featuring Batman villains, and one actor has expressed interest in playing one of those many villains at some point in the future.
Seinfeld star Jason Alexander took to Twitter to suggest that he is the perfect actor to take on the role of Egghead. While he hasn’t seen Joker yet, he’s just throwing out the idea of Egghead and then challenges his followers to see if they could come up with someone else who would be better suited for the role than him.
Haven’t seen Joker yet but it’s clearly a hit. So, in anticipation of films featuring other Batman villains, who would be better than me to play Egghead? Go ahead, throw out some names.

I can totally see Alexander in the role of Egghead, and the idea of including him in a movie is certainly an interesting one. This character was originally created for the 1966 Batman TV series and was originally played by the legendary Vincent Price. Since then he’s appeared in several other projects over the years. He’s not really a mainstream popular villain, but that’s part of what would make him so interesting.
Egghead is a technological genius but despite this high technological intelligence, he had no more than average strategic talents, a self-sabotaging level of impatience, and repeatedly demonstrated a need for external validation. He also used trick eggs and "so bad they're good" egg-based Puns.
After Alexander posted the Tweet, the majority of fans say he would make a better Penguin, to which the actor replied, “Apparently the masses have decided that I'm a better Penguin than Egghead. I blame it on my natural waddle."
Here’s the thing, we know that’s not going to happen. Alexander has a much better chance of playing Egghead if that’s a character that DC and WB ever decided to introduce in a movie.
What do you think about Alexander wanting to play Egghead in a DC Batman-themed movie?
