SENSE8 Team Confirms There Is No Way To Save The Show

If you thought it was possible for Sense8 to somehow get a renewal after Netflix dropped the hammer on the show, you're wrong. The team behind the show penned a message on Tumblr to fans saying they appreciate their support and petitions, but it's just not gonna happen.

We’ve seen the petitions. 

We’ve read the messages. 

We know you want to #RenewSense8, 
and we wish we could #BringBackSense8 for you. 

The reason we’ve taken so long to get back to you is because we’ve thought long and hard here at Netflix to try to make it work but unfortunately we can’t.

The move by Netflix seems financially based as the budget for the series reportedly rang in millions per episode. Take that and the fact that the show never caught on as much as some of the network's other shows, and you can see why the decision was made. Are you disappointed that the series is over?
