Sephiroth is Joining SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE as the Next DLC Character
Update: The story previously stated that Sephiroth was the final DLC character and this was incorrect.
Nintendo finally announced who the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be: Sephiroth. The announcement came during The Game Awards with a pretty awesome trailer.
The one-winged angel from Final Fantasy VII shows up with his iconic theme music and just obliterates everything! Of course, I’m sure Sephiroth will have a freaking ridiculous reach with his nodachi and plenty of fans are going to love playing him against Cloud.
Fans will be able to learn more about Sephiroth from Masahiro Sakurai on December 17 at 2 PM PT. His release date will be announced at that time, but we do know it is sometime this month.
