Serial Box is Launching Two New Marvel Series Based on Black Widow and Jessica Jones

Serial Box offers premium reading and audio entertainment for many different franchises including Marvel. Now, the platform is proud to announce two new Marvel series that will be voiced by amazing voice-over veterans.

The first series is Black Widow: Bad Blood which will be voiced by Sarah Natochenny who is possibly most well known as many voices from the Pokémon anime including Ash and his mother Delia. This series will launch its first two episodes on April 28 and is written by a team led by Lindsay Smith and includes Mikki Kendal, L.L. McKinney, Margaret Dunlap, and Taylor Stevens.

The Black Widow has been targeted. When Natasha Romanoff wakes up from a night she can’t remember, the mission gets personal. As the Widow seeks revenge, old friends come into play, buried history comes to light, and she begins to realize that the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

The second series is Jessica Jones; Playing with Fire. This series will be voiced by gaming industry veteran Fryda Wolff and is written by a team led by Lauren Beukes and includes Elsa Sjunneson, Zoe Quinn, Vita Ayala, and Sam Beckbessinger.

In Marvel’s Jessica Jones: Playing with Fire, Jessica Jones’ story isn’t over as a case is brought to the superhuman detective that leads to a supernaturally evil discovery. The series shows Jessica’s dedication to her mental health as she actively works to manage her self-destructive tendencies by seeking therapy and finding community. The series also introduces new non-binary characters alongside ones that fans will recognize, including blind lawyer and crime-fighter Matt Murdock, written by blind writer Elsa Sjunneson.

The first three episodes will become available on May 28.
