SESAME STREET Whips Up a KNIVES OUT Parody and it's Delightfully Absurd

Sesame Street and the Knives Out mystery universe have officially collided in the most wonderfully random way. Netflix shared a short parody titled Forks Out and introduced the world to Beignet Blanc, a Muppet detective who channels Benoit Blanc with knitted precision and a sugary Southern drawl.

The streamer posted the video with the caption, “Beignet Blanc stars in FORKS OUT. A @SesameStreet whodunnit…” and from the moment the video begins, the energy is playful, clever, and absolutely in the spirit of Knives Out.

What you get is a mini whodunnit designed for kids but crafted with enough winks and nods that any movie fan will appreciate it.

The mystery unfolds with Cookie Monster discovering that his triple berry pie has vanished, leaving only an empty plate and the faint scent of injustice. Oscar’s sardine pie sits as untouched as you’d expect, so something curious is clearly happening.

That’s when Beignet Blanc steps in, knitted scarf and all, to dissect the crime scene with theatrical deduction. Suspects are dismissed one by one. Cookie Monster is deemed too messy, Oscar the Grouch is far too fond of his own sardine creation, and even Rian Johnson gets name-dropped as the parody leans fully into its inspiration.

Grover attempts to play detective too, though Beignet Blanc stays several steps ahead of him while steering the mystery toward a simple and fitting twist.

This parody offers a silly but smart riff that movie geeks, kids, and anyone who loves the Muppets can enjoy.
