Seth Rogen Reveals He Secretly Helped Rewrite BAD BOYS II
Here’s fun bit of movie trivia that Seth Rogen recently dropped on Twitter regarding his involvement with Bad Boys II. It’s been 17 years since Bad Boys II was released, and there’s been a lot of talk about the franchise lately with the new film, Bad Boys For Life, being released in theaters this week.
Entertainment writer Eric Vespe took to Twitter recently to explain that he liked Bad Boys II better than the first Bad Boys. Not long after that, Seth Rogen chimed in to say, "I helped rewrite bad boys 2." This is a bit of news that we never knew before.
17 years ago Seth Rogen was still struggling to make it in Hollywood with his longtime friend and writing partner Evan Goldberg. To help them out for some much needed cash, Judd Apatow, who was hired to rewrite the Bad Boys sequel, asked Rogen and Goldberg to help him with the rewrite.
Rogen explained, “Judd was rewriting it and me and Evan were broke so he gave us a bit of money to help. I don't remember much but we all definitely wrote the joke where they don't know the words to the song, and where Martin shoots the machine gun in the car by accident. And probably many more…”
