Seth Rogen is a longtime friend and collaborator of James Franco. The pair got started as young actors on the cult classic series Freaks and Geeks, then went on to star in and sometimes write and direct many more projects including The Disaster Artist, Pineapple Express, This is the End, The Night Before, and The Interview.

But Rogen has taken a stance of Franco’s sexual misconduct allegations that have come to light over the past couple of years, saying he will no longer work with Franco. Rogen told The Sunday Times:

“What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that.”

Rogen previously said that he would keep working with Franco in a 2018 interview, but now states he regrets that statement.

“I also look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now.”

He went on to add that the allegations have also changed their personal relationship, but he knows he is not the victim in the big picture of the situation. The two actors had become pretty synonymous with one another, so it’s too bad that Franco allegedly made these decisions that had far-reaching impacts on his life, and so many others.
