Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller, and William Hurt Set to Star in Political Satire THE FENCE
Shailene Woodley (Big Little Lies), Miles Teller (Whiplash), and William Hurt (Kiss of the Spider-Woman, Black Widow) have signed on to star in an upcoming political satire called The Fence. The film tells the timely story of “two liberal newlyweds increasingly at odds with their ultra-conservative ex-marine neighbor over a nine-foot-tall fence that he insists on building to keep his home safe from potential terrorists.” Icelandic director Grímur Hákonarson is helming the film.
Almost every town in America has seen its share of political polarization between the two parties as this year’s election came to a head, so this story may feel familiar. These three actors are pretty great, so I am interested in checking this out. Filming is set to begin in March of 2021, so it will be a bit before we see it, but we will let you know when we hear more. Are you interested in The Fence?
