Shannen Doherty Returning for Fox's BEVERLY HILLS 90210 Reboot

Shannen Doherty has officially signed on to return to the reboot series of Beverly Hills 90210 for Fox. She will join the other original castmates that have already signed on that include Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling. The whole gang will be back together except for Luke Perry, who passed away unexpectedly in March.

The series is set to air this summer, 19 years after the show originally ended, and will be based on “heightened versions of themselves with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.” It sounds like it will be pretty fun for fans of the original series, and fans of reality shows, as this sounds like it will be sort of a spin-off of one.
