SHANTAE AND THE PIRATE'S CURSE Now On PlayStation 5

WayForward is happy to announce that Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is now available as a native download on PlayStation 5. Metacritic’s highest rated entry in the Shantae series, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is priced at $19.99 as a PS5 purchase or is available as a free upgrade for owners of the PS4 version. 

Originally released in 2014, this third installment in the series finds Shantae teaming up with her nemesis Risky Boots to save Sequin Land from an evil curse. Shantae must embrace her inner pirate as she is deprived of her Half-Genie magic. Armed with a flintlock pistol, pirate hat, scimitar, Risky’s boots, and a cannon, Shantae will visit diverse islands, escape an ancient temple, solve puzzles, and battle epic bosses. With its retro pixel artwork, this game is worth looking into if you enjoy that style of graphics.
