SHANTAE Has Potential to Become an Animated Series

Shantae and the Seven Sirens is a really good game. I really enjoy playing it. One of my favorite things was actually the cutscenes. The animation looked great, and in my review I said that I’d love to see an animated series for Shantae. Well, it looks like that may be a possibility. In an interview with ComicBook.com, Matt Bozon of WayForward was asked about the potential of an animated series, and while he doesn’t say we’re getting one, he does say it’s possible.

I’m taking a breather by helping out with a few other projects where I can while we prepare for the next big thing. Erin really wants to keep exploring Shantae as an animated series, and I’m all for that, too. After that Studio TRIGGER intro it feels like it’s closer than ever. Why doesn’t the cartoon keep playing? Why does it end?
