Sharon Stone Will Play the Villain in DC's BLUE BEETLE Movie
Sharon Stone has joined the cast of DC upcoming Blue Beetle movie, and she will take on the role of the villain, Victoria Kord. Joining Stone is Raoul Max Trujillo (Mayans M.C.) who will be playing Carapax the Indestructible Man.
They will join the previously cast Xolo Maridueñ (Cobra Kai) in the lead role of Jamie Reyes, the alter ego of the Blue Beetle, a vigilante who has a scarab grafted onto his spine that gives him tremendous powers and the ability to emit blue energy.
The series also stars Bruna Marquezine as Penny, the female lead and love interest, Belissa Escobedo as Jamie’s younger sister, Milagros, as well as Harvey Guillén. We don’t know who he’s playing yet, though.
Blue Beetle is being directed by Angel Manuel Soto (Charm City Kings) from a script written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (Miss Bala).
The movie is set to be released in theaters on August 18th, 2023.
