SHAZAM! Sequel Title Revealed To Be SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS

We got the tiniest tidbit in the panel for Shazam! 2, and that was the title of the upcoming sequel. It was revealed in a poster that was held up by Faithe Herman, who plays Darla Dudley in the films. Shazam!: Fury of the Gods is the name of the upcoming film, and the stars in attendance, including Zachary Levi (Shazam), Asher Angel (Billy Batson), Jack Dylan Grazer (Freddy Freeman), Adam Brody (Super Hero Freddy), Meagan Good (Super Hero Darla), remained pretty tight lipped on any other details.

The only other small tease was that Meagan Good asked if they could talk about the villains from the new film. Levi comically over-corrected her, saying it could be a singular villain, who knows?! They also had actor and comedian Sinbad jump on the panel to throw his hat in the ring to be in the film. He joked that everyone thought he was in the 90’s movie Shazaam, so he may as well be in this one! I don;t know if this will become a reality, but as you’ll see, he did make it into Faithe’s poster in the picture above.

That was pretty much all they gave us to work with. I’ll take it though! I can’t wait for more info on the sequel, and I can’t wait to see Shazam! Fury of the Gods in theatres on November 4, 2022.
