SHERLOCK HOLMES 3 Gets an Official Release Date!

Warner Bros. has officially given Sherlock Holmes 3 a release date! That date is December 25th, 2020, which happens to be a week after James Cameron's Avatar is released.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law will reprise their roles as Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. There's no word on who will be directing the film, but Guy Ritchie directed the first two movies. I assumed he would come back for the third, but maybe the studio is looking to change things up.

We have no idea what the plot of the third film will be, but I'm curious to see who the evil mastermind is that they take on next. I loved the first two films and I think I actually liked the sequel more than the first. Jared Harris as Professor James Moriarty was just so perfect. He's going to be a hard villain to beat.
