SHERLOCK HOLMES 3 to Take Place in the Old West
I know that Sherlock Holmes 3 was recently pushed back to the end of 2021, but I’m still excited for it. I loved the first two films in what I assume will be a trilogy.
To add to my excitement, HN Entertainment is reporting that they’ve learned the setting for Guy Ritchie’s threequel, and it won’t be in Europe. This time, Holmes and Watson are supposedly going to be headed to the Old West of San Francisco.
This certainly sounds like a fun change in setting for our heroes, and it’s sure to allow a number of shakeups such as Holmes not being overly familiar with the city or having to deal with an American rival. This could be a lot of fun.
In addition to the setting announcement though, Geek Vibes News is reporting that Sherlock Holmes 3 will begin production in January 2020. Let’s hope that it doesn’t start too long after that or it may not meet its release date of December 22, 2021.
