SHERLOCK HOLMES Social Media Accounts Teasing Something in September

At the end of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, we see Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock add a question mark to Watson’s writing project. Ever since then, fans have been dying for a third film. We have since learned that a Sherlock Holmes 3 was in the works, but it’s been almost a year since we heard anything! Well, it looks like things are going to change.

In a recent social media post, fans can see the same moment I mentioned earlier, but instead of adding a question mark, Holmes types out “September.” This of course has fans trying to figure out what is going to happen in September involving the third movie. I’m certainly glad that there’s some kind of update, and my theory is that we can expect the first teaser trailer in September. I’ve waited nine years, I can wait a few more months.

Sherlock Holmes 3 is being directed by Dexter Fletcher and is set to star Downey Jr. and Jude Law. We also know that the film will be taking place in San Francisco of the Old West. The current projected release date is December 21, 2021. What do you think the teaser clip is trying to say?
